André Brunel—Southern Rhone Valley, France
The Brunel family has called the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region home since the 17th century—making wine for five generations. In 1971, André Brunel took the helm of the Domaine, growing rapidly and launching the infamous Cuvée Centenaire. In 2012, André’s son Fabrice joined to continue the family legacy. André Brunel wines reflect their region and origin while remaining elegant and subtle. The main grape variety grown is Grenache. 70% of their vines are planted to Grenache followed by 17% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah, and 3% Cinsault.
