An Evolution

Initially focused on Port wines, Quinta do Vallado expanded in the 1990s to include an impressive range of dry wines, capturing the rich diversity of the region's terroir and varieties.

Quinta do Vallado's heritage asset is its old vineyards, covering 10 hectares. First planted in 1929, these vineyards possess tremendous potential for producing exceptional wines.

State of the Art Winery

The new winery, built in 2009 is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to produce dry wines and Ports. The architect chosen to develop this project was Francisco Vieira de Campos, from Porto School of Architecture, and has since earned several architecture awards.

A Unique Landscape

Spanning 70 hectares (172 acres), Quinta do Vallado's vineyards thrive on schist slopes facing south and west, benefiting from the Mediterranean climate for optimal grape maturation.
