The nose, subtle and charming, opens with notes of orange blossom and acacia, mixed with notes of yellow fruits. It then evolves towards lovely and delicately-spiced aromas of fried pineapple and tonka bean. The palate is characterized by freshness, with citrus fruits sublimating the notes of brioche and dried fruits. Its creamy texture stretches deliciously into a persistent finish. An intense, seductive and very elegant vintage champagne that can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or is a great accompaniment throughout a meal.

VinePair (94 Points & #19 of the Best 50 Wines of 2023):
“The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier comes together in this delectably rich Champagne. Notes of brioche, lemon curd, and cheese rind rise out of the glass, and the palate brings an incredible creamy texture and a soft stream of bubbles.”

Wine Enthusiast (93 Points & Cellar Selection):
"A blend from premier and grand crus on the Montagne de Reims, this is an elegant Champagne. The Pinot Noir gives the wine weight and richness, contrasting with the vibrant white fruits and acidity. It is a balanced, fine wine that shows some maturity. Drink now."

Decanter (92 Points):
"The 2015 Grands Terroirs opens with a floral note of acacia blossom and ripe yellow fruits…On the palate
Chardonnay takes the driving seat in the blend, with the freshness and impact of Trépail fruit giving a
bright, citrus salinity, plus a note of bitterness. It boasts good intensity and an exotic dried fruit element, a hint of spiced pineapple, as it opens in the glass, but it needs a little more time to develop fully…”

James Suckling (92 Points):
"A chalky and mineral Champagne with aromas of blanched almonds, chalk, seashells, biscuits, lemon pith and dried apples. Creamy mousse. Dry and bright, with a rounded finish. Drink now or hold.“

Wine & Spirits (92 Points):
“Markedly youthful in its smoky reduction, this wine sees its sulfur blow off quickly, leaving a flinty scent
and an impression of clarity. It’s bright with pretty scents of black tea and herbs, firmed up by strong
acidity. Give this a year or more for its flavors to fully open.”

Wine Spectator (91 Points):
“A balanced Champagne, with a creamy mousse and flavors of cherry, poached pear, lemon pound cake
and minerally chalk and smoke backed by soft orange peel acidity…Drink now through 2027. Tasted twice,
with consistent notes.”

The Palmer Champagne house in Reims is one of the newest houses in Champagne—only 75 years old—young enough to still innovate but old enough to have respected heritage. It was founded by seven passionate grower-families, obsessed with producing top-quality and legendary champagne, with the clear vision to create a Grande Marque.

Palmer has holdings of over 500 acres of vineyards in the Montagne de Reims sub-region of Champagne, all of which are Premier or Grand Cru vineyards. With its labyrinthine chalk cellars, deep beneath the streets of Reims, and its wines that spend an extended amount of time on their lees, it’s little wonder why Champagne Palmer cuvées have such orchestral flavors—flavors which are always harmonious and balanced. One of the most unique cuvées in Palmer’s range is the Rosé Solera. Like in Jerez, a solera or “perpetual reserve,” is refreshed every year with an addition of wines from the latest harvest. Each vintage adds a layer of complexity to the final blend, telling a myriad of stories in one bottle.

Champagne Palmer is heavily committed to sustainable winegrowing, focusing on soil and vine nutrition, soil maintenance, treatment of the vines and sustainable protection of the vineyards. La Revue du vin de France, the lauded French wine magazine, bestowed Champagne Palmer the Vinegrowers Group of the Year award at the 13th edition of the RVF Grand Prix. This distinction rewards the commitment of Palmer’s dedicated winegrowers and the excellence of the Palmer & Co wines.
