This wine gains its color from a solera of pinot noir, representing eight percent of the blend; reserve wines account for another third. The pale pink color implies the wine's delicacy, but not its layers of complexity. It layers notes of ginger, strawberries and roses over red currants, lasting on a savory, lacy intensity. At the heart of the blend lies a unique Solera of Pinot Noir, a perpetual reserve of several decades reflecting the House's celebrated expertise. The intense nose is dominated by the energizing aroma of wild strawberries with tantalizing light notes of red and black currants in the background, overlaying very delicate notes of vanilla and cinnamon spice. Fresh and full-bodied on the palate, it is drawn out in finely tannic, succulent bubbles in the same register of fruity elegance.

Founded in 1947 and established in Reims, Palmer & Co is an ultra-premium Champagne House with over 500 acres of vineyards classified as Grand and Premier Crus in the Montagne de Reims area. The winery sources grapes from 350 growers and approximately 1000 acres of vines throughout the Champagne region.

• Champagne Palmer Brut Reserve is aged 4 years on the lees and 6 months in the bottle after disgorgement. Most champagne houses only age for 2-3 years.
• Champagne Palmer Rosé Solera is a blend of Brut Reserve with 15% red wine vinified in oak barrels, according to Burgundy tradition, then aged in a solera with red wines from the previous vintages. Palmer is the only house to use this method in Champagne.
