Georges Duboeuf’s Beaujolais Nouveau offers a unique wine experience steeped in tradition and innovation. Since 1982, this vin de primeur has captivated the U.S. market and beyond, transforming it into a global phenomenon.

Crafted from Gamay grapes in the distinctive Beaujolais region of France, the wine is produced using carbonic maceration. In this technique, whole grape clusters ferment in a carbon dioxide-rich environment, producing a red wine that is not just fresh and fruity, but also approachable and easy to enjoy. ​

Beaujolais Nouveau is released on the third Thursday of November. This annual event celebrates the year’s harvest and pays homage to Georges Duboeuf’s passion, which elevated both the Beaujolais region and the Gamay grape to near-cult status.
