This Pinotage displays a vibrant crimson color. A wonderful dark berry perfume with subtle notes of licorice and sweet spice fills the glass. On the palate you pick up raspberry, black cherry and strawberry compote. A zippy acidity and soft, well-rounded tannins make sure that this is a very quaffable wine.

Established in 1971, the Simonsig Estate is situated in the famous Stellenbosch Winelands just east of Cape Town. Frans Malan's groundbreaking innovations include South Africa's first Méthode Cap Classique Kaapse Vonkel. The Estate's is committed to producing wines of internationally regarded excellence, expressing the unique and diverse terroir of the region.
